Calendine plans your meals: it reads your goals and, if you choose to connect one, your calendar, and proposes what to eat and when — including recipes written for you by an AI model. Connecting a calendar is optional and the app works without it. By using Calendine you agree to these terms.
This is the important one.
Calendine estimates calorie targets from formulas and generates recipes with a language model. The output can be wrong. Calorie and macro figures are estimates, not measurements. Recipes are generated text, not tested recipes, and have not been reviewed by a nutritionist, a doctor, or a chef.
Calendine is a convenience tool for generally healthy adults. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Do not use it to manage a medical condition. Talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet, and especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an eating disorder, or take medication affected by food.
You can record dietary rules and allergies, and we make a genuine effort to honour them — generated recipes pass an automated screen for the restrictions you set. That screen is not a guarantee. It matches on keywords and can miss an ingredient, a synonym, a brand name, or cross-contamination.
If you or anyone you cook for has a food allergy, read every ingredient and step yourself before cooking or eating. Never rely on Calendine alone to keep someone safe. You are responsible for the food you prepare and serve.
Cooking involves heat, sharp tools, and raw ingredients. Follow safe food handling practice and use your own judgement about cooking times and temperatures regardless of what a recipe says.
You need an Apple or Google account to sign in, and you must be at least 13 (16 where that is the local minimum). Keep your device and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile.
If you add household members, you confirm you are entitled to provide their information.
Calendine does not place food orders. No money moves through the app, and no order is placed with any restaurant or delivery service.
If you choose to connect a Kroger account, Calendine can add items from your grocery list to your own Kroger cart. That is not a purchase: nothing is bought until you check out yourself in Kroger's app or website, under Kroger's terms. Product names, prices and availability shown in Calendine come from Kroger and can change or be wrong; check your cart before you pay. Veridion LLC is not a party to anything you buy from Kroger.
Calendine is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will say so before you are charged, and you will never be charged without agreeing first. Any purchase made inside the iOS app would be processed by Apple under Apple's terms, not ours.
Yours stays yours. You keep the rights to what you write — your notes, household details and questions. You give us permission to use them only to run the service for you: to generate your plans, recipes and answers, including by sending them to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
What the app generates. Recipes and plans produced for you are yours to cook, keep and share. We make no claim that generated text is original or that it does not resemble something published elsewhere, and we do not grant you any rights in third-party content a model may reproduce.
Calendine is under active development: features will change and bugs will occur. The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it; no using it to generate harmful content; no automated scraping; no reverse engineering except where the law permits.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Veridion LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on generated nutritional information, recipes, or allergy screening. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Calendine is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US $50.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are between you and Veridion LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Calendine or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may change these terms and will revise the date above; material changes will be surfaced in the app. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Washington, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
